Xmas '09

Xmas this year was a pretty quiet but it was a really good day. We started off pretty early when we heard the cheering from Preston when he saw his lollipop taped to his present from Santa. He thought it was great. This year he got a scooter from Santa and Lincoln got a Tractor which makes noises and moves when you press the buttons. The Tractor was the pick of the bunch for Lincoln and Preston's favourite was his Basketball which he asked for.

After all the presents were opened and breakfast was over we headed over to Sam and Bec's place for morning tea. It was great to see them and neither of us were on a schedule so no rushing around to go places and it was very relaxed and enjoyable. It was an awesome start to the day. Preston got an etch a sketch which he loves, so now there are fights if Linc touches it.



We headed down to New Farm Park for Lunch where we met up with Toni & Andrew. We ran around and threw the frisbee and the vortex football and had a big feed of Trifle.....MMMMMmmm. It was goooood. Couldn't say the same about the rotten crab dip that Danielle made..... Urrgg

We timed the day perfectly because it was overcast all day and when we strapped Preston into the car to leave it bucketed down raining. Close call.....

We headed home for sleeps and more playing in the yard and learning to ride the scooter... but not without the knee & elbow pads. It was a great xmas.
