Easter in Mackay

We had an awesome Easter in Mackay and got to catch up with most people, which is great. It started with a crazy trip, where we gave Preston an Easter Egg on the plane..... Not a smart move. The poor kid was bouncing off the walls and we had to strap him into his chair with the belt.... not a happy camper. Between whinges, he was smashing his head and back into the chair and then smashing the table into the lady in front.... hehe. We were those people on the plane with the annoying and loud kid. On the other hand, Lincoln was great he slept the whole way and we didn't here boo from him. I think he laughed a couple of times at his brother going mental.

We went around to the Camilleri's for Lunch after the beautiful Rain washed us out and Preston made a new friend with Fraser Camilleri. I think he was his new best friend because he had all the chocolate. We got to meet the Dewars new addition, Bailey, who is pretty easy to put too sleep when you've got the knack.... which I had. She was very cute and tiny, if only our boys were that small again.

I also got to meet little Jackson Anderson for the first time. He's got the Commando down pat and moves fast, he is going to be a handful when he can walk..... Good Luck Dean and Tracy.

A lot of the extended Gargano Family turned up at the new Downing Street premises and the place was a mad house especially with little Jessica Jamison and Preston running amok. Preston gave his mother a scare when he tried to copy the older Jamison girls doing front flips in the lounge..... he was landing clean on his head but lucky he was trying to do them on the mattress..... Poor ol' Steve was trying to organise the Italy trip with everyone and no wonder he is bald.... Trying to organise anything with the Gargano's is liking ripping your hair our one by one.... Needless to say nothing got sorted and Steve threw his hands in the air and gave up.

We spent a day out at Liz's place and Preston & Lincoln had an awesome time with their cousins, Joseph & Tyson. Preston and Joseph play together like they see each other everyday and are the best of mates, it's really great to see them getting along so well.

We also had Shane and Amiee's Wedding while we were up there. It was a day they pretty much organised twice, with the change of Reception venue 3 times and a change of Ceremony because of the rain and also the DJ changed because he didn't realise it was a long weekend.... It ended up being a great day and it was good to see everyone having a good time. Amiee looked lovely and she did a wonderful job of the colours and organising the whole day. Zac was a classic during the Ceremony, he was having a ball running up and down the aisle and giving mum and dad hugs on his way pass. Congratulations guys.

Well even though it rained the whole time, we had a pretty good trip up north and we still have a couple more this year and then that's it..... NO MORE MACKAY. Danielle, has Kasey's wedding in June and then we have christmas in July at mum's place.
