James & the Boys - Day 7

Well I started the day off really tired because Lincoln kept me up all night, but the boys had a great time in my room playing with all the toys while dad tried to get some more sleep. Presto has worked out that he can climb out of his cot and thought it was a great game getting in and out. He did understand I wanted to lie down though so he would come and lie down beside me with his bummies. It was really cute and nice but it would have been much better if he left me alone… Instead he would poke me in the eye and grab my ears and then roll over me and try and talk to me…. There was definitely no sleeping in for Dad. Lincoln got the message when I put him on the floor and he went and found some toys to play with.

Todays big adventure was heading to the beach for some swimming and beach fun….. I'd love to report that this was the case but noooo. Presto wanted to go shimming with the bubbet that fell on his head. He didn't understand that there was different forms of swimming.
When we drove down Lincoln was asleep so we decided to go for a drive around Grasstree and we did some 4 Wheel Driving around the hill and out to the lookout. We then headed down to the beach where Presto realised there was no bubbet and whinged the whole time. Lincoln didn't mind it but I got the most wet out of everybody. With that a fizzer we went back to Grandads to play.

Shane, Amiee, and Zac arrived for lunch and Presto and Zac were running amok. I got out the jumping castle after sleep time and they thought it was great. It had the desired affect and wore them all out, but trying to keep Lincoln in there was a mission.

We also got up in the roof to find all our old toys but to no avail. We found some really crappy ones but not our favourites. Got my old bean bag though, so that was a bonus.

I didn't take any chance with sleep time tonight and I rugged the boys up and well they slept like babys…. Much better than the night before.
